Success Stories: People Who’ve "Made It"

Matthew S. Moore

Degree: B.S. in social work, Rochester Institute of Technology, National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), May 1983.

Present job: President of MSM Productions, Ltd., an independent deaf-media company. Publisher, Deaf Life.

My Success Comes From: Hard work, dedication, and energy, plus a dedicated team to work with. I’ve sacrificed many of life’s most enjoyable things–time, socializing, relaxation, vacations, and hobbies.

My Advice for New Graduates: If you have a goal, set your mind, energy, heart, and spirit to it 100 percent. Don’t let yourself get pulled down by negative, hostile, jealous people. Think positive. Patience is a virtue.
